Measurement guide

A. Length
Total length of the coat measured on the back, from the base of the collar straight down to the hem.

B. Chest
Width measured from armpit to armpit.

C. Waist
Width at the narrowest point of the waist, measured 40 cm down from the base of the collar.

D. Hip
Width at the hip, measured 60 cm down from the base of the collar.

E. Hem
Width of the bottom hem, measured from edge to edge.

F. Sleeve
Length measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Please note: The measurement includes a 7 cm turn-up allowance.

G. Shoulder
Width measured across the upper back from one shoulder seam to the other.

The Tulppaani light down coat is as soft as a flannel shirt. The check guilting and longer hem at the back with rounding recall the shirt's appearance. In appearance, the coat is light, straight and relaxed - worry-free and comfortable. If you prefer a more fitted coat, opt for a size smaller than your usual size. On the other hand, if you like an oversized style, you can choose a larger size. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable – this model suits many body types. The sturdy hood stays securely on the head and can be adjusted. The pockets feature snap fastenings and are subtly integrated into the vertical stitching. The Tulppaani can also be worn as an extra layer of warmth under another coat or paired with a vest.

Joutsen down coats have been awarded the Design From Finland mark, which signifies Finnish design and responsible manufacturing. The filling of the coats consists of responsibly produced down, which is a by-product of meat production. The down is cleaned in our own processing facility without the use of harmful chemicals.
