Measurement guide

A. Length
Total length of the coat measured on the back, from the base of the collar straight down to the hem.

B. Chest
Width measured from armpit to armpit.

C. Waist
Width at the narrowest point of the waist, measured 40 cm down from the base of the collar.

D. Hip
Width at the hip, measured 60 cm down from the base of the collar.

E. Hem
Width of the bottom hem, measured from edge to edge.

F. Sleeve
Length measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

G. Shoulder
Width measured across the upper back from one shoulder seam to the other.

Särkkä is the perfect down coat for any occasion: warm, lightweight, and stylish. It works well in both urban and snowy environments. With its timeless design and premium materials, it’s a versatile wardrobe staple.

The baffle-quilted, A-line silhouette offers a relaxed yet refined fit. Generous dimensions, drop shoulders, and roomy sleeves make layering easy, while the adjustable fixed hood and low stand collar provide extra protection against the cold. It features practical, zipped pockets for storage.

Made from matte Pertex® Quantum NetPlus® fabric, Särkkä is lightweight and durable, crafted from 100% recycled polyamide from discarded fishing nets. Its wind-resistant and water-repellent properties ensure comfortable performance in various conditions.

In essence, Särkkä combines modern style with practical outdoor functionality, making it an everyday essential. Särkkä in the dark blue shade shown in the images will be available from late October.

Origin and responsibility

Joutsen down coats have been awarded the Design From Finland mark, which signifies Finnish design and responsible manufacturing. The coats are filled with scientifically tested, pure down and feathers sourced as by-products of the meat industry.


Down and feathers are cleaned to a high standard of safety and purity at our own processing plant using the multi-stage Joutsen Down System cleaning process.
