Follow the care instructions to keep your down product in good condition for a long time. Wash and air it regularly, as down performs best when clean and fresh. Wash a duvet about once a year and a pillow at least twice a year.

Preparation
Always follow the product's washing instructions and wash one item at a time. Make sure the item fits in the machine. Check that the product is intact.

Stains
Treat stains with stain soap or a stain remover.

Pre-soaking
Soak the product thoroughly or leave it to soak for about 20 minutes. You can also use the machine's pre-wash program.

Washing
Use down shampoo or a mild liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Select a program with thorough rinsing and a long spin cycle. Finally, make sure no detergent remains in the product.

Dryer machine
Dry at a low temperature. Pause occasionally, remove the item from the drum, and fluff it by hand. Continue until the down is completely dry.

Air drying (no dryer machine)
You can also dry it in a well-ventilated room at room temperature, fluffing it occasionally (about 2 days).
Frequently asked questions
Use a small amount of liquid, fragrance-free detergent.
Air down bedding regularly and change bed linens frequently. It is recommended to wash the duvet once a year and the pillow at least twice a year.
Double duvets are often so large that they do not fit in home washing machines. We recommend having larger duvets professionally cleaned at a laundry service.
