How to wash down pillows and duvets?

Follow the care instructions to keep your down product in good condition for a long time. Wash and air it regularly, as down performs best when clean and fresh. Wash a duvet about once a year and a pillow at least twice a year.

Frequently asked questions

What detergent should I use?

Use a small amount of liquid, fragrance-free detergent.

How often should I wash my down bedding?

Air down bedding regularly and change bed linens frequently. It is recommended to wash the duvet once a year and the pillow at least twice a year.

Can I wash a double duvet (e.g. 220×220 cm) in a home washing machine?

Double duvets are often so large that they do not fit in home washing machines. We recommend having larger duvets professionally cleaned at a laundry service.
